On a pitch black stary night it was a day when we light up the sky

With colourful bright fireworks . We lit up those bright fireworks

And watched them explode into the stary night sky . as we lit up

Fire works other people lit up fire works too to make the black stary

Night sky a beautiful piece of explosions and a beautiful piece of

Colourful explorations blast into the pitch black sky and bright colour

Exploded . Boom! The sky exploded with a piece of bright colourful

Colours exploded Kaboom . The fireworks exploded into the sky making

A colour explosion . Also my very eyes were so focused on the colours

And my eyes filled with happiness . kaboom! Pow! Boom! Bang! The fire

Works were a taste of the rainbow but even better . we lit up our sparklers

And they shined gold as a golden star . Then the sky got very dark and we

Lit up these colourful to light up the sky .

The story of Matariki

Once upon a time there was a young boy named Matai. He lived in a village with his brothers and they were handsome but they did not have a wife yet because they were too into them self but one day Matai and his brothers heard sweet lovely voices coming from across the mountain so Matai’s brothers went up the mountain to see what was up there. When they got up they saw beautiful lovely wahine with beautiful silky golden hair. They were shining like glowing shimmering beautiful stars. Then Matai’s brothers fell in love with them immediately because they were so pretty to them . And after that matai’s brothers took them to there village to make the seven wahines their wife's . And after that Matai’s brothers started to look ill and starving because Matai’s brothers did nothing but take care of the seven wahines . And after he  had to do something because he was curious. Matai knew he had to do something about his brothers wife's so in the middle of the night Matai went outside and started to spy on his brothers wife's. And after that they finally made a move and turned into birds and flew away so matai followed them and found out that they were making a plan to make matai’s brothers starve to death. After that Matai told his brothers and talked some sense into them. after that Matai got a magical net and gave it to his brothers and they captured the wahine. The seven wahine begged them to let them go but the brothers refused to let them go and gave them to matai and matai took them to the god of the stars and they turned into Matariki stars so they could still show their beauty.

And that is one story of the Matariki stars.

Matariki day

 On Friday it was a cool day kind of sunny day for everyone and fun day because we all would have a day to do different kind of activity for a day in different classes everyone was hoping they would be in the group they wished to be in but first we would have to wait because we had to go to a assembly . And after that assembly we all came back to class and sat on the mat ready to do the roll and after doing the roll we all got told what class to go to and what we were doing i was so happy i got put in the class i wished for because i was in cooking class so i went to room 3 and with my bag and shoes and when i went in i was a little shocked to see a lot of people that i did not know so i was a little shy so  i sat at the back and my group was watching a matariki video .  After watching the video we did the roll . Then  after that we got into our activity and i was doing origami first and we were in groups that we got split into from the teacher . And origami was kind of hard but that was fine because we had some help . After that we all went onto the mat to eat our food and after that we all went outside to enjoy playing for a bit . After that we went to our class and we were making picletes and this time were going to cook after we got into a team and one of the year 8’s and year 7’s had to take a team to help . and my helper for my team was Shelly . And she was so kind . After that we all had to have turns of doing stuff like mixing the flour and milk together . Or cracking the egg . Or put the mixture into the bottle. And after that we all went into the kind of hard bit  we had to cook it now and flip it and use the right amount of butter at the right time . After doing all that it was the fun part decorating the picletes with whip cream, chocolate chips, the jelly sauce and the Oreo's and sprinkles . Then it was time to eat it and we all enjoyed it . Then it was lunch time and after lunch time . we all went back and had to do something exciting and scary for me we had to do a fortnite challenge we all had so much fun . And then it was time to go to the hall with our bags and shoes to show and share what we made and did. And that was my matariki day

just keep swiming

First we all went to get into our group. Next We all went to check the

life jackets for us to wear. Then we all Went into a straight line.

Next she had to take a big step into the water . Then she had to float

Our buddy so we can not stay together. Then when the teacher told us to

Robot rampage

First Hemi was at his house looking at the grass S0 bored because he had to be mowing the lawn because his dad said to and if he did it he would get his money. So he made a plan to make a robot to mow the lawn. So he set off to make the robot all night.Then in the morning he finished buliding his robot so he took it out and he turned it on. And then he felt so happy. He had a drink and he slept for a bit.Then he woke up and found the lawn mowed but his robot was gone!!

To be continued………….

Hemi was furious and scared the robot might go somewhere far away or in the house!! So Hemi ran into the house and ran upstairs as fast as he could. When he got upstairs he heard a big scream so he ran in the room to find his little sister crying and screaming for help and then he saw his little sister up high on a big branch from the window. Then when the robot saw Hemi he shouted alert alert and then the robot ran out of the room and then Hemi was thinking of a way to get his little sister but he did not have much time. She was slipping down and she was screaming hard out so then her hands were slipping and then she fell and so Hemi grabbed a bean bag and aimed where she was gonna drop. He threw the bean bag and as she reached the ground she fell on the bean bag. Then Hemi came up to her and asked her if she was alright. Next she went back to do what she was doing. Suddenly Hemi heard a loud noise and he followed the sound of the noise and it was coming from his Mum and dad’s room and when Hemi went into the room he found the robot grabbing some dresses and Hemi was laughing but the the robot grabbed the makeup and splat it on the bed. So then Hemi jumped on the robot to hold it down. Next Hemi told him to be good and not run off like that or Hemi’s mum and Dad would catch the robot and put the robot in the basement and keep him there so the robot decided to be good so he cleaned all the mess he made. Then Hemi’s parents came inside and called Hemi so Hemi  turned the robot off and he put the robot in the closet for now and when Hemi went downstairs his parents told him that he did a great job so then Hemi finally got his pocket money so then his parents told him its time to watch a movie. Then Hemi grabbed the popcorn and heated it all up. Next they went into the lounge and watched a movie and Hemi was so happy he fell off the couch and slept.

puppy holiday

Today i couldn’t believe my eyes when i got on the bus and i saw a whole bunch of dogs

Sitting in seat’s ready to go on their holiday. And i know where dogs love going and it’s

A fun dog and puppy park.Or the beach.And i have never been on a trip with my pets but

I know how to make a trip go great with my pets when their going on a trip with me.

Number one always bring their favourite toys with you when their going on a trip with you.

Number two never leave there favourite food at home.Number three always play with them.

Number four always stop the car sometimes so they can have a break.And i also know they

Would describe their bus trip as a nice relaxing time with you.and also maybe they would also Say they kind of liked the trip if you bought them a cool as toy.And i have been through

long trip. And i was going Tonga and i passed the time by sleeping watching movies and eating.

Omaru Creek

Today me and my class went down to Omaru Creek. So first we went to get a buddy. Next we all went into a line next to our buddy’s. Then when we got to Omaru Creek we saw dirty and iky water and ducks. After that we went to the other side of the creek and saw more iky water with brown things on top. We saw more ducks. Then when we were gonna take a class photo we had to kind of sit on the wet grass and we took a photo of us sitting on the grass. Then finally we took the photo after a dog ran around us.  And then we went back to class.

hi my name is valessa and i made a post about what whanau is and i also put 2 of my childhood photo's on this and i missed being a little kid so here's a post about whanau.

All about me

Hi my name is Valessa and I have 1 big brother who goes to university and 1 big sister who is going to college next year.

I like eating spaghetti and meatballs because it tastes so nice and it’s like fancy food to me. I love watching teen titans go and the loud house because it’s such a great movie because one of the movies is called teen titans go. Also it is about is about 5 super heroes and they’re called the teen titans in the movie and they always save the day. Their leader is called robin and the other heroes are raven, starfire, cyborg and beastboy. So that’s all the teen titans.The next cartoon I like is the loud house and it’s about a big family. There are 10 girls in the family and 1 boy.  All of the kids have names that start with the letter L and the kids names are lori, leni, luna, luan, lincoln, lucy, lola and launa. Lily is the youngest so that is the whole family. And i love to watch my big brother’s friend play a cool game called kingdoms of hearts. It’s a game with lots of Disney characters you might know, like it has peter pan in it and hercules and princess jasmine and other disney characters you love to watch. And I love playing basketball because it is so fun and tricky and there is lots of tricks you can do to win the game. My favourite colours are purple, gold and pink.

I enjoy learning my takeaways because they’re so fun to do and sometimes tricky and tricky is fun to me because when you are learning something new it goes in your head if your listening carefully. It helps your brain learn something new and if you always remember it it might help you be more smart than you are right now. I would like to work at the tuck shop at my school because it looks kind of fun doing stuff like taking orders and giving the person their order.  I would  like to learn my 7 and 8 and 9 times tables off by heart so I can get smarter at Maths.
