Roman colosseum

                                                       Roman colosseum

Heard of the colosseum?, haven’t? Well then..

The roman colosseum, located in Rome ((Capital of italy)) built in either 70 AD or 72 AD, built by a man named emperor vespasian. Sadly he died before it was built since it took around eight years to build but was opened by his son emperor titus. a construction used in the olden days for the entertainment of people.  The purpose of this  building was for entertainment, In this building battles between mankind and animals like tigers, lions, bears and brutal fights were held. This is a little  like a circus ((made for entertainment)) but more combat, fights and no funny business.

Its walls are built of stone , brick & Concrete!, I’ve heard its endured for two thousand years which Is a very long time, 50,000 seats for a big audience since it was popular back in rome centuries ago. Sturdy brick wall, 260 feet or 189 metres long, 512 feet or 156 metres wide. 158 feet or 50 metres tall.

Would I like to vist myself?

I would absolutely love to see or visit this colosseum in the future one day, that is if it’s still there.

All the history filling that place would been great to experience. Just imagining all the events happening centuries ago and standing there now where others stood. But I wouldn’t like to see the horrors of the events happening with my own two eyes, It would truly be very terrifying.

“Does this seem familiar to you?”
